This chuck wagon watercolor, was a plein-air painting I did last Saturday at the Cowboy Gathering, an event The Booth Western Musuem was hosting. Lots of Chuck wagons and cowboy, cooking some delicious meals in cast iron pots over a fire. Fun, beautiful day and I met alot of nice people.

Hi, I'm Gretchen Allen and live in Acworth, Ga near Lake Allatoona. I love to paint on location so most of these paintings were started on location and then finished in the studio. I enjoy doing most subjects, working with oils, acrylics, watercolors, and pen & inks. It's usually the light that attracts me to a scene or object.
