This was a caricature of a friend of mine painting outside at Calaway Gardens. It's a combination of watercolor, pen & ink, & pastel, done from a photo I took of her.

Hi, I'm Gretchen Allen and live in Acworth, Ga near Lake Allatoona. I love to paint on location so most of these paintings were started on location and then finished in the studio. I enjoy doing most subjects, working with oils, acrylics, watercolors, and pen & inks. It's usually the light that attracts me to a scene or object.
