This is an acrylic I did from our front porch with just black & white paint. There was no snow, but it looked like snow, so I added that & then I just had to add the horse & sleigh and a little color as well.

Hi, I'm Gretchen Allen and live in Acworth, Ga near Lake Allatoona. I love to paint on location so most of these paintings were started on location and then finished in the studio. I enjoy doing most subjects, working with oils, acrylics, watercolors, and pen & inks. It's usually the light that attracts me to a scene or object.
