I climbed up this steep hill right from the middle of downtown Ellijay and found this cute little house snuggled up against the land.

Hi, I'm Gretchen Allen and live in Acworth, Ga near Lake Allatoona. I love to paint on location so most of these paintings were started on location and then finished in the studio. I enjoy doing most subjects, working with oils, acrylics, watercolors, and pen & inks. It's usually the light that attracts me to a scene or object.
